I'll stamp all over 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.

Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Former twice world title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.

Size Difference

As the two fighters participated in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually happening.
